Whispers on the Wind is a living journal — a place where encounters in creation and the fresh whisper of the Spirit meet. Here I gather moments from the trail, quiet insights from ordinary days, and the daily word God breathes into willing hearts. Nature often becomes the doorway, but the Voice is always his. This is a space to notice, to listen, and to remain open to whatever he chooses to say today.
The trees opened along Wilderness Drive, and suddenly, the sunset over Lake Itasca appeared — the water perfectly still, reflecting the sky like glass.
There was no time to plan the photograph.
The light was already fading.
I steadied the camera on a railing and pressed the shutter.
But what stayed with me was not the image —
it was the silence. The presence of His glory.
For a moment the lake, the trees, and the sky seemed to pause…
as if the Creator Himself had stepped back from His work and invited me simply to stand there and see.
Some beauty cannot be planned.
It can only be received.
